Wedding Stationery FAQ

November 12, 2007

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER MY WEDDING STATIONERY ?

Invitations to a Wedding are normally sent out 6 weeks before the day. We recommend ordering your invitations 8 – 10 weeks before the day, to give yourself plenty of time to write, address and post your stationery.

HOW MANY INVITATIONS SHOULD I ORDER ?

As a general rule, order 10% more invitations than you require, to allow for mistakes when writing your invites, and people whom you may have overlooked when creating your guest list.

WHAT IF I HAVE NOT DECIDED ON ALL THE INFORMATION FOR MY ORDER OF SERVICE OR MENU ?

It is unlikely that the information for your Order of Service or Menu will be finalised at the same time as your invitations, therefore you don’t need to order your Order of Service and Menus when you place your order for invitations. Most companies will tell you deadlines for delivery or be able to accomodate your wedding schedule.

SHOULD MY INVITATIONS MATCH A THEME OR COLOUR ?

Having a theme or colour for your Wedding day is not essential but, some say that if you have a theme for your Wedding day then it adds continuity to the day. Sometimes you may not even have realised that you have a theme featured throughout your day until you choose your invitations, and them realise that you have a predominant colour or theme already. Some people just know they want a “pink and lilac” Wedding invitation or a “Medieval” theme for their day. We can happily tailor our existing Wedding invitation range to suit a theme you have in mind or create you an unique invitation through our bespoke service.

CAN I HAVE ANY PICTURE OR PHOTO I WANT ON THE PERSONALISED LOMOND CELEBRATION RANGE OF WEDDING STATIONERY ?

As long as you have taken the picture/photograph yourself, i.e. there is no copyright on the picture/photograph then you may use whatever picture/photograph you have in mind.

WHAT IF I USE YOUR BESPOKE WEDDING SERVICE ?

If your looking for bespoke wedding stationery or you wish to customise one of our existing ranges please email us at bayatticinfo@btinternet.com with your exact requirements.
