The Lighthouse, Stormy Day Greeting Card by Raymond Murray
Since it’s that time of year on the West coast of Scotland, and the Waverley is back for the summer months, here is another view of the Cloch Lighthouse seen from the river Clyde. Take a trip on the Waverley and you to could see many more fantastic Scottish scenery.
The cards are 150mm x 150mm square in size and comes with matching envelopes. The cards are blank inside so they are ideal for jotting down a few lines to someone as a notelet or sending your greetings for a Happy Birthday !

Working Reflections | The Bay Attic | Flickr
We at The Bay Attic had been thinking about creating a Flickr group but couldn’t think what the group should be about. Eventually we decided on a title “Working Reflections”.
We thought that a photo of your reflection while at work, reflected in something other than a mirror and taken by you or someone you know could, could get brains thinking and produce some great shots.
We also thought it would be great fun too ! So, be sensible, we don’t want any heroics, or you causing yourself harm by trying to create the best photo reflection or naked bits or insulting gestures or anything like that !
So what would your working reflection be like ?

Looking Down on Sorrento Art Print by Mairi Aitken | Lionboy – The Chase
Reading a book about a World where a boy can speak “cat”. A World where cars have recharge stations, those who have petrol cars, are either very rich of have a license to use/sell the commodity. A World where allergies are rife and there is a strange place where all those who live there are extremely cheerful and un-naturally living with a notion that they should be doing something else, but not sure what. A World perhaps not that far from our own ?

Lionboy The Chase by Zizou Corder
A book called Lionboy The Chase by Zizou Corder. A fantastic read whether you are eight or ninety eight. (I don’t care that it says it’s for 8 to 12 year olds !)
There is a a chapter in the book where the main caracter Charlie is overlooking Venice from a window above the roof tops of the City and what came to mind was this print from Mairi Aitken and her outlook on Sorrento.
How did I end up reading this book, you may ask ? That’s another story, but I may have to find the other two in the Trilogy !

The Storr Art Print by John Bathgate
My wife tells me that she has never seen this print before (I on the other hand think she is having a senior moment !) “I didn’t realise that there were two pages of John Bathgate’s work on the website“, she said.
The Storr in snow giclee fine art print by John Bathgate
The Wife loves snow scenes so here is the enlightening picture, and just to let you know as well, when you scroll through John’s work on the website there’s more to see when you select to click on the “next” or “previous” or the number “2″ at the bottom of the page. Perhaps you will even see a scene which may re-kindle a memory !
