Perthshire Moon by John Bathgate
Colours of Autumn or colours of Summer ? Sumptuous colour for today – Perthshire Moon by John Bathgate.
I am sitting here working on new designs for a Fair in January and I just took a moment to watch the world pass my window. It is a crisp day of muted colours so, to liven my perspective I thought I would feature this vibrant paiting from John.
What does this painting make you think of, is it the colours, or the style of the subject that sets your mind to wander ?

Precious – Specialised Cards and Gifts
If you are out for a stroll along the seafront in Gourock, and before you pop into one of the many eateries and coffee shops that tempt you as you walk, have a look in Precious in Kempock Street, Gourock.

It is a fantastic shop for special occassions and they have a wonderful array of handmade cards, greeting cards, unique and unusal, quirky gifts that are sure to make the recipient smile. And of course you can also choose from an exciting colourful range of wrapping paper, gift bags and the likes. The proprietor Janie, has a great sense for display and her shop front window constantly has something to catch the eye whether it be mugs, posters, or jewellery. There is also a good selection of locally created and designed cards and stationery too !
