FAQ’s

ARTWORK ONLY OPTION

When you send me a PDF, what is it ?

Definition:Portable Document Format or PDF is a file format created by Adobe Systems, Inc.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is the programme used to open and view PDF files.

This free programme is usually installed on most computers or can be easily installed from the Adobe site.

A PDF file allows sharing of files even if you don’t have the software or programme the file was originally created in.

This file format also allows us to share files across platforms such as Linux, Mac, Windows etc., and means that a PDF file will look essentially the same on you computer as it does on ours.

When you choose to purchase an invitation as “Artwork Only”, you also benefit from the fact that you can print the file on different brands of printer, which in turn means that you can take the file to your high street printer to print out for you, or print on your desktop printer at home.

(Please Note: Colour matching is as accurate as the print and paper processes allow. This means that there maybe some colour variances due to the paper the invites are printed on or the inks used in the printer etc.)

WEDDING STATIONERY FAQ’s

Is there a specific time before the Wedding to sending out the Invites ?
When should I order my Wedding Stationery ?

Invitations to a Wedding are normally sent out 6 weeks before the day. We recommend ordering your invitations 8 to 10 weeks before the day, to give yourself plenty of time to write, address and post your stationery.

How many Invitations should I order ?

As a general rule, order 10%  more invitations than you require, to allow for mistakes when writing your invites, and people whom you may have overlooked when creating your guest list, and it also means that you get some sample to keep for your scrap book or memory album.
